Saturday morning, 8 September, was "the day". The camping weekend called "a loving Camp" started with breakfast in the Childlife House. Du to the numerous preparations in the beginning, the children were nosily and impatiently expecting the weekend. A lot of food had to be prepared, games had to be planned and the camping area also needed to be fixed up. This weekend we additionally picked up seven children from the "Bridge", which, hopefully, will find a new home. .
After breakfast the children were taken on two trips in our Pickup, which we had bought two days before, to the site. The first activity was the "Olympic Games".
We had to quit after the first two disciplines (throwing a ball as far as possible and pushcart race) since the sun was burning unmerciful on that day, and any type of activity was impossible to do. We took advantage of the hot hours and went swimming, which made the children cheer.
