Childlife-A future for street children in Mae Sai

From the 19th of March until the 2nd of April I was in Mae Sai
talking with the Childlifeteam about the realisation of the Dream
ChildlifeVision2002
and to give the go-ahead for the beginning as soon as possible

In an first conversation with the owner Grongpol Kheunkam (in the picture on
the left side) we negotiated an arrangement of a five year long lease. Ngaow is
leasing the property on behalf of Childlife Mae Sai, effective the first of April.
We as the foundation will pay the rent.
Step by step we discussed everything in detail,
presented it on the blackboard and processed it with
the pc to Excel data. In the end we doubled the original
size of the house for the children and we had a detailed
plan in accordance with the first estimation.
I soon saw, that I was already able to give the go-ahead already, and so we
decided to have a small starting celebration on Saturday, the 30th of March.
Due to the fact that the raining season starts in the middle of June, which will make the building more
difficult, Ngaow began immediately with the groundwork. We started by lugging stones to build the road.
The bigger boys were working with a great zeal.

We have a draem "ChildlifeVision 2002" - many thousands of people go to our homepage and read
about this dream. Some support us, for example some of the students from engineering sciences of
Bangkok. On the 27th of March Ngaow explained to them the whole project and they are interested to
help with a project work. The last pictures are recent shots of what the site looks like right now
